Audio: Emotions and Business DO Mix
I got the awesome opportunity to do a half-hour radio show with Kelley Jones of StartYourOwnBusiness.com this week. We talked about one of the least discussed issues in entrepreneurship: emotions!
I am so fired up about letting people know that emotions are a crucial part of being in business for yourself (let alone of being human in general)! There are so many people who start a business and then get sideswiped by the unexpected emotional impact of it.

You definitely think fast on your feet. I liked how you and Kelley moved the conversation along at a great pace. Her questions were good and your answers were informative. I enjoyed listening to both of you pulling from your past experiences dealing with emotion in the business world back when you were a writing coach.
Listening is key to any good client/professional (or otherwise) relationship. It was good to hear you touch on that. Thank you so much for sharing. Well worth the listen.
Would love to interview you when I start up my show. I would most definitely like your take on marketing and the psychological aspects it holds — as I deal a lot with the way people view and interact with color and layout. I think we’d do a bang up job! =)

Yes, Fraiser was kind of a neurotic mess. I hope I do better therapy than he did, but he’s an easy example to reference.
